About Me

I’m Henrik Lidén, a Technical VFX Artist with a background in motion design and technical art. I enjoy combining art, technology, and motion to create real-time visual effects that support gameplay and help bring interactive worlds to life.

My journey started in motion design, where I developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling and communication. That passion eventually led me into game development and Technical Art at The Game Assembly, where I discovered my interest in creating VFX.

Most recently, I worked as a VFX / Technical Artist at IO Interactive on 007 First Light. Joining the project during its final production phase, I contributed to expanding and polishing the game's VFX library, created effects for Bond's gameplay gadgets, supported gameplay setpieces, and worked extensively with volumetric smoke workflows using EmberGen and Houdini.

Before that, I worked at Dynasty Studios, creating a variety of gameplay and environmental effects. Across every project, I enjoy working at the intersection of art and technology, turning creative ideas into practical, optimized solutions that enhance gameplay and player feedback.

I’m always exploring new tools, workflows, and techniques to continue growing as an artist. My goal is to create responsive, memorable visuals that make game worlds feel more alive.
